Making every day beautiful

As preserving the environment becomes more important than ever, the beauty industry is starting to change. But how can we bring sustainable makeup into our everyday lives without giving up quality or style?

Elate has been advocating kindness since 2014. Their brand promotes beauty products that help people feel self-assured and confident while committing to saving our planet. Elate envisioned a better way and brought it to life by creating cosmetic products with packaging made from recycled materials. They went further by designing packaging that customers can reuse, recycle, or even plant after using the products, ensuring we actively look after our environment.

The company Elate was founded by Melodie Reynolds. Melodie wanted to make a change in our world after discovering how multiple beauty products are unethical and unsustainable. Melodie’s journey began at home when she had the desire to create a product that is sustainable, ethical and harm-free, which would be designed to be suitable for everyone. Melodie expresses how “routine becomes ritual when the act is more important than the result.”

As Elate evolved, they reached incredible goals. Elate has saved over 697,000 plastic packages from landfills with their recycling program, 157,500 gardens were grown from their seed paper packages, 22,000 trees have been planted from customer orders and $27,000 donated to social and environmental causes in 2020.

Beautiful inside and out

Although sustainability is just one part of Elate’s mission. Elate also believes that beauty is found in authenticity, inclusivity and self love. Their products are carefully formulated to be vegan, cruelty-free and suitable for all skin types. Every item is designed with care and not just to enhance appearance, but to support confidence and personal expression. They encourage individuals to feel seen, valued and empowered, reinforcing the idea that beauty is unity.

By embracing diversity and sustainability, Elate is not only redefining what beauty means, but also how the beauty industry can function. They are proving that it is possible to deliver high quality, high performance products while staying true to ethical principles. Through transparency, innovation and compassion, Elate invites us to take part in a more mindful and responsible approach to self care.
