Coffee with a cause

The coffee industry has long had a gender imbalance, especially at the farming and production level.  Women play a key role within this industry and are often the backbone of coffee farms, doing much of the hard labour. Yet they’re underrepresented and undervalued in both management and pay. To combat this inequality, Girls Who Grind have developed a community of exclusively female only growers and pay them premium prices for their exceptional work.

“Grown by Women. Always.”

It doesn’t stop at buying beans. Through their Cheek to Cheek initiative Girls Who Grind go the extra mile, to give producers an additional payment of 10% of their bag sales on top of their already fair and considered payment. So you know every bean has come from a good place.
