Never fear, Sproutl is here to help demystify the domestic garden and create accessibility for consumers to grow and maintain their green spaces, in order to support local ecosystems and promote the expansion of green spaces in the UK. Founded in 2020 by Anni Noel-Johnson and Andy Done, both former executives at Farfetch, Sproutl is a UK-based, online marketplace aiming to simplify the art of gardening and make it approachable for everyone, regardless of experience or space constraints.

Shoots of hope
Sproutl’s commitment to the environment is evident in every sense. The company exclusively sells peat-free compost, avoiding the ecological damage caused by peat extraction. They also prohibit the sale of harmful pesticides and artificial lawns, promoting organic gardening practices. In addition to this, Sprouts also use packaging to sew the seeds of environmentalism – their boxes and tape are recyclable, FSC certified and compostable, designed to minimise waste and emissions.
